Lorcana: Organized Play League Day

Welcome to the first ever Trade Routes Lorcana League! Join us every Sunday at 2:00pm, beginning August 20th, and get in on the ground floor of Organized Play for the latest entry into the world of trading card games, this time brought to you by the House of Mouse. From the official website:

"Whether you’re a collector, new player, or TCG veteran, Lorcana Play can help you connect with Illumineers to trade and play. As a Lorcana Play participant, you’ll earn League points for playing or for participating in other activities. Lorcana Play stores will award prizes based on League point totals. Your store may also choose to host tournaments and award prizes based on the results... Qualifying local game stores may receive a kit of promo cards, pins, and other prizes  they can use to host tournaments or support League play. In League play, participants collect points by playing (win or lose), bringing a friend to game night, or teaching someone the rules. Kit materials may be awarded to players with the highest point totals."

And host tournaments we shall! Since this is a brand new game with many variables still unknown, we will be continually assessing the tournament structure/entry fees/prize support as time goes on, but here for week one we have a special deal: it's free! And we'll give you a booster pack just for playing! In addition, all participants will have an opportunity to shop our catalogue of Lorcana merchandise at a 15% discount at the conclusion of the tournament. (Participation packs will also be handed out at the end. Gotta play to get that pack!)

The format for the tournament is Constructed. Whether you've built your own deck from scratch or you're simply starting at the ground floor with a Starter Deck and some booster packs, all are welcome. This event is capped at 24 players, so be sure to RSVP here to save your seat. See you there!
